So we all know that England (and Wales, and Scotland...) didn't qualify for Euro 2008. And, no, we aren't over it. (We aren't even over failing to qualify for the 1994 World Cup, how would we be over this?)
Still, as the sun starts to shine, and the cheap supermarket beer offers start to appear, you'll realise, like us, that you'll probably have to watch some of Euro 2008 anyway.
Our suggestion? Take part in the biennial contest where you rate the most attractive fans of each participating nation.
As a preview for this year's contest we've collected one image for each of the 16 countries. Judge them accordingly, and let us know your thoughts in the comments. It's fun for all the family!
Actually ... not really. Best not to tell the family about this one.
Hottest Fans of Euro 2008
Sweden
The Swedes are a truly class act in every battle of the supporters, and this year is no exception. High quality in every position, the Swedish team are likely to be favourites barring an early upset.

Portugal
The Portuguese supporters have been an uneven bunch in the past, but after hosting the Euro tournament in 2004 they have come on in leaps and bounds. Expect them to deliver another quality performance on the terraces this year.

Netherlands
Another strong contender for the fittest supporters crown, the Netherlands are loud, blonde and not afraid of wearing comedy Viking hats. But weren't the Vikings from Denmark?

Spain
The Spanish have consistently failed to make it past the quarter finals in previous years, and their supporters are no different. They will be hoping for more this year, but cracks in their line-up could see them home early yet again.

Romania
We tried to find some attractive Romanian supporters, we really tried, but this is the best we could do. Don't expect much from the Romanians this year.

Russia
The Russian supporters have an unfairly poor reputation, and are actually a quality outfit. They could easily surprise some people in this year's contest -- or at least distract them from the match for a few minutes.

Croatia
The Croations have really hit their stride in the last few tournaments, but are their star supporters a little bit over the hill? We'll have to wait and see -- but if it goes into extra time, a quality outfit like the Swedes or the Italians will be favourites to overpower them.

Turkey
This Turkish fan's expression says it all -- penalty shoot-out in the semis, dramatic miss, close but no cigar.

Greece
At every football tournament one underdog team rises to become the neutral's champion. In Japan and Korea it was the Irish. In Germany, the Australians took a bow. But don't hold your breath, those teams never win. And if this picture is anything to go by, the Greeks will suffer the same fate this year.

France
Like the Swedes, France has a consistently strong band of supporters. They'll be challenging for the final all the way.
