Andy Warhol is arguably the most important visual artist of the 20th century, and while that's great and all, people often forget that there were some other pretty cool aspects to his life.First off, he rose to the top of the New York art world from humble beginnings as the son of a coal miner in Pittsburgh, kind of like Ben Stiller's character in "Zoolander."
Another achievement -- he made a movie of a man sleeping for six hours and actually got people to watch it! And let's not forget the badass-itude he displayed when he survived being shot by a crazy feminist.
So the day after what would have been Warhol's 80th birthday, we'd like to offer up a couple of clips featuring the artist. The first is his cameo from "The Love Boat," and after the jump you can see Warhol create an image of Deborah Harry on an early Amiga computer.
