It's an age-old playground question with only two answers: innie or outie?Well for one Czech underwear model, the answer is "neither".
Karolina Kurkova, 24, is making waves after appearing on a catwalk in Miami Beach without a belly button. The missing navel has now become, in the words of one paper, "the riddle of the £2.5 million beauty".
Some people naturally lack their belly-button as a result of abdominal problems shortly after birth, a condition known as gastroschisis. However some have speculated that Kurkova's rounded navel may in fact be the result of a cosmetic proceedure. Doctors have turned innies into outies (and vice versa) for years -- surely covering it up couldn't be that hard?
For now the mystery remains just that -- a mystery. Kurkova has not talked about it publicly, and all her agent will say -- according to the BBC -- is that she is "not an alien." (Note that the agent did not rule out that Kurkova may be a sea monster, angel or computer-generated hologram... We're just saying.)
What do you think? Is the belly-buttonless naval attractive or not? Take a look at our gallery below, and then let us know what you think in the comments.

can we at least get the spelling correct??? naval is pertaining to the sea............. for goodness sake how can we expect our kids to grow up properly if everything they see on line is mis-spelt
We eat navel oranges in this house - not naval ones with boats or flags on

My daughter hasn't got a bellybutton due to a pre-cancerous condition so I think it looks lovely as does my daughter.

Just using the word 'ugly' is a sign of a limited frame of mind. Goodness knows what you would say about a disabled person!

I agree, why would you be looking at her navel?
She is beautiful, even without one, but surely, you should have something better to do than writing an article on someones belly button, there are far more pressing matters happening in the world right now, perhaps focus on them?

I can see her belly button - what's the big deal? It's just stretched a bit. Am I the only person who can see it?! If the camera was slightly higher you would see it better but it is there.

I think it looks good - she certainly is a stunner, and who really wants to look for her belly button when there are other items of interest!
I have 2 belly buttons - one from birth, and the 2nd from a operation I had recently.
