There is a phrase oft-spoken in certain circles -- "the other man's T-shirt is always cooler." No matter how original, funny or insightful you think your T-shirt is, there will always be someone in the immediate vicinity of yourself who has a slightly wittier phrase written across his chest. It's just a fact of life.
So, for once, do yourself a favour. Take yourself out of the game. Settle for some cheap and stylish sale tees from independent graphic designers Illustrated People, and forget about it. They're good quality, they fit nicely and there aren't a million other people wearing them. Sadly, that's about as good as it's ever going to get. Because as cool as these shirts are, they will never be as cool as the shirts in your dreams.
This, my friend, is the tragedy of the human condition.
