It's the time of year when winter layers are shed and women everywhere get to cut loose and experiment with whatever wacky styles have been declared in vogue. It's also the time when we -- their straightforward boyfriends and admirers -- take a deep a breath and nod in approval through gritted teeth at ill-advised concoctions, from weird hemlines and nun-like floor-scrapers to strangely located fringes.
If you want to be prepared for the unnecessary affectations you'll be exposed to this spring and summer, check out the gallery below. We've partnered this season's silliness with a few of last year's most unfortunate trends. They continue to hang around for some reason, reinforcing the reality that women dress to impress women, not men.

I wish you people would give up, why not go over and poke fun at the mens fashion instead of being so sexist all the time. Women should not have to dress for sex appeal, we are not here to please men every day of our lives or at all if we choose not to.

Well. . . .
Men don't care about how other men dress. And as far as we are concerned the only time were are concerned with fashion is as it pertains to how well it accentuates the female form.
Thanks for trying to finish the job in emasculating the male gender, woo hoo!!!

Now let me get this straight. You want mini skirts instead of maxi skirts; tight dresses, trousers, and jeans instead of trapeze, boyfriend, or baggy. EVERYTHING "short and tight" does not conjure "The Little Whorehouse in Texas" to you but yet fringed bags and shoes do? How lame and shallow can one be?

Im normally a bit of a feminist, but I dont really think this is a sexist issue at all!
Its just that womens fashions are more daring and tries to excentuate the fairer female figure.
Men dont always get it right all the time either.Large print tees are one example of them getting it wrong too!
Anyway, the article isnt actually saying we have to look sexy for men, you lot are...youre making the assumption you need a mans approval to feel good :P
