Nude skate decks -- Lucien Freud meets the half-pipe

While it may seem that skateboarding is purely for the under 17s and people who can say the word 'rad' with a straight face, we beg to differ. Concrete surfing is for everyone -- everyone, that is, who appreciates a finely painted naked lady.

To this end, Peruvian artist Alexxx Castaneda has produced a range of skateboard decks customised with nude studies of women individually rendered in fine oil paint.

Admitedly, at more than £220 a pop these boards might be better suited to a spot on your living room wall than the local skatepark. But then again no one's going to notice you fall off like an idiot next time you attempt a kick-flip if your deck graphic looks like this.
