We're all big extreme athletes at Asylum, especially extreme BBQ-ing and extreme sofa Twittering. So we're assuming it would be great if we had a helmet camera to record just how extreme we are.

Fortunately, VholdR will release the ContourHD Helmet Cam on May 15. It's not got the biggest memory, with only a 2 GB SD card and no hard drive. Basically, you'll have to record your Iron Cross 780 Rodeo just once, unless you're bringing the laptop with you. On the other hand, the lens has a 135-degree angle, which is great if you happen to be skateboarding illegally and need a greater view to see the trailing cops.

There are also mounts for goggles and a laser focus system. They do not include a helmet as part of the £155 (or $280) price tag, but we highly recommend picking one up if your extremeness, unlike ours, involves leaving the house once in a while. [via GearCrave.]
