Everybody's buzzing about this new site, Goths in Hot Weather, which got us thinking about our favourite sub-genre of that category, Goths at Amusement Parks. It seems like you can't go to Thorpe Park without a couple of these knuckleheads waiting in line for the Nemesis wearing black trench coats in boiling sunshine.
Goths love amusement parks so much that they've even got their own annual event in which they take over Disneyland for Bats Day. Luckily, they also take pictures.
After the jump, check out a few of our favourite pictures of Goths at Disneyland.

I don't see why goths shouldnt enjoy Disney land as much as we do! They just dress differently and sometimes lead a bit of a different life style - it is just who they are, we shouldn't think they are strange for going to a worldwide tourist attraction.

banning or complaining about goths using an amusement park is like saying that gays, dwarfs, caucasians or some other indiscriminate division of the population is unable to use them.
enjoy and celebrate their difference and embrace their willingness to demonstrate their beliefs and choices!
(ps no ia m not a goth)

Why is this even news worthy?
They are just people, they dress in a style that they prefer..just like you do...they still eat breath and shit the same as you do...so whats so special about them going to friggin Disneyland?!
boring story...just boring.

Why should it be a big deal about Goths going to Disneyland? I'm not but my partner is and she enjoys life just as much as the next man or woman.
Besides, they are just being what they want to be, I'd rather go to a public event with Goths all over the place than brainless Chavs, at least you know there won't be any trouble there. It's just typical of the media to demonise minority groups who don't fit in with the lowest common denominator in society. Before Goths it was Punks and Heavy Metal fans, but who actually causes trouble anyway?? It's the mindless sheep who follow the trendy fads and listen to mainstream pop that are the people we should be concerned about, as they love to attack anything they are too scared to understand.

annoyingly enough, people often refer to me as a 'goth', however i choose not to be labelled as a certain category as i see it as wrong. I was actually suprised that my picture wasnt on this site, as i went to disneyland last year and had an awesome time! Seriously, the people who write articles for this site obviously have no brain cells, as they feel the need to treat people who are different from them like a freak show. IIt;s just wrong if you ask me, they wouldn't do a feature like this for 'chavs' or 'preps'

i think the pics are great... they are amazing people that dress the way they want to .. nothing wrong with that and i would feel much safer being in the company of the so called goths than a load of chavs anyday... they are just haveing fun at an amusement park whats up with that?

Emily McCombs is a discriminatory bigot, if we had an article on black people at disneyland or burkha wearing muslims it would immediately be labelled discriminatory yet goths seem to be ok to take a pop at. Shameful use of journalism.
