Ah, Ronaldo. How sad we are to see you go. We mean that. Sincerely.
Sure, you're a whining, cheating, sulking cry-baby. But that's why we loved you! Whether it was throwing a tantrum on the pitch like a like weedy girl, or diving over somebody's leg so high you appeared to be auditioning for the Portuguese Trampoline Squad, there was no one else in the Premiership that entertained us quite like you.
Now, okay, maybe you scored a few goals. And maybe you can command transfer fees that should only be reserved for actual titanium-plated footballing robots. But your real value was that you were the most exciting sore loser in the history of English league footy.
And we'll miss you.
Take a look at our video compilation of Ronaldo's most exhilarating and shameful moments below...
First up, here is a classic Ronaldo moment against Arsenal. Ronaldo dives, then throws a huge and completely unnecessary rant. Essentially it's Cristiano doing what he does best -- annoying everyone who doesn't didn't support Man United.
In this game Man Utd were cruising to victory over City. With 30 minutes to go, and having already scored a goal, Ronaldo was substituted. He spent the rest of the match sobbing, sulking and throwing his kit around like a baby.
In case you didn't notice over the last few years, Ronaldo cries. A LOT. Here is a great compilation of his weepiest moments:
Sometimes in football you get tackled. It's not the end of the world -- you just have to get up and carry on. Or, if you're Ronaldo, you have to sulk, sulk and sulk some more:
Alongside sulking and crying, the other thing Ronaldo does really well is diving. Here are his top 10 worst dives, with the obligatory terrible YouTube soundtrack...

I realise that this comment is probably a complete waste of time. BUT in the hope that it might make some difference to a young player!!!......
When football was played by real sportsmen like Bobby charlton, Bobby Moore and many others it was a pleasure to watch. A wonderful game and played in a great spirit. Ronaldo is a first class example of why I and others will never watch 'football' again. He, like many others, is an example of a selfish, self opinionated, overpaid CHEAT that is a complete and utter disgrace to his family, friends, football and much more importantly to himself. He is,unfortunately not alone. His manager (ex) is another example of what is wrong with the game today. To much money,to little honesty and very little morality. I've got little doubt that there are those who feel that he is a great loss to English football. He isn't. Bobby Moore certainly was!!!!!!

I'm glad to see the back of him. As a footballer he was talented but squandered his talent by cheating and being dishonest. As a role model at Man U he taught a gereration of children that cheating was a legitimate part of the game so I wont miss him as in reality he is just a spoilt little brat who has used the UK premier league to further his career and nothing else - just a shame Sir Alec stood up for him instead of sending him home in disgrace years ago but that says a lot ofr his judgement too! Adios and dont come back!

I may be a man utd fan but I am so glad he has finaly gone, yeah ok he scored good goals for us last year nd this season just gone but he has only been playin for himself not for the team and it shows just that ranting after being substituted against man city. Ronny don't do things like that right in front of alex ferguson beckham pissed him off and he got rid of he too.

I,m sick to read all the negative publicity about Ronaldo. His transfer will be a loss to the Premier League. He is an outstanding player, a goal scorer, goal provider and has the electrifying pace to frighten any defence in the world. It is a good deal for Man. U., getting that sort of money for a player who obviously wanted to leave, but the Premier League needs to keep the likes of him if they are to remain the best in the world. Even all the money Man. City have could not attract Kaka to the Premiership, and the financial state of some of our top clubs means they will not be able to compete in the transfer market.Good luck to Ronaldo, and thanks for the excitement you brought to the English game.

Couldn't agree more. The man was, and is a genius and, yes at times he did dive but...name me a preimership foriegner that doesn't!!!! From a spestating sport it did what it said on the can, he entertained and sold tickets...a major clubs dream ticket. At least without Ronaldo Chelsea will finally win something..The diving trophy Mr Drogba.

80 million pounds is an outrageous amount of money to spend on one football player when the poxey government can`t spend money on people who need drugs to keep them alive , Its nothing but an insult to the working man.

well technicaly ronaldo is a working man just like anyone else but what makes him "special" is hes talented unlike most people at a sport that most people watch and because of this he gets more money in a week as you do in like 5years
its not an insult that hes been sold for £80,000,000 it just shows you how much you can do with a talent
and come to think of it is it his fault that the government are theives
no its not
he just worked at his talent n look where he is now

People saying that he has the talent to be worth 80 million are mad. yes he is talented but that is over the top for a man who dives about all over the place. look at john barnes for example one of the best wingers of his time an would still (in my opinio) do a job for a league 2 side easily. he has a load of tallent on the pitch and signed for £950,000 not these crazy sums of money. is anybody really worth that much ? evan the kak scenario is over the top i think.
