This Halloween, you could dress up as a cardboard iPhone and ask someone to touch your screen, but that doesn't really show any commitment to giving Halloween your all. Check out these two American chaps who made functional iPhone costumes instead.

The pair made similar costumes a couple years ago, but have upped the ante for Halloween 2009 by strapping LCD screens to themselves attached to car batteries that they have to carry with them to make the costumes work.

The screens obviously don't have touch capability, but they do replicate an iPhone interface. No word on whether or not obscene texts from friends or a plethora of pointless and time-consuming applications are included.

Check them out in action, after the jump.
