Weep for this man. Openly, shed a tear.

While driving in Durban, South Africa the poor fool sank his beloved car in the mother of all road holes. We shouldn't laugh, but apparently the windsreen wipers were frantically swinging back and forth as the motor plunged.

Engineers say a water pipe burst, weakening the tarmac and allowing the road to swallow his Polo. The gutted motorist managed to abandon ship in time and emergency services and Netcare 911, a private paramedic team, were called.

Someone should tell the council about the hole, too. Just a thought.
