If you had a week to do it in, could you eat this meatball?
That's the problem currently being analysed by the greatest medical minds Asylum has to offer.

This, sirs, is the biggest meatball ever made. The 222.5lb (101kg) whopper was sculpted in New Hampshire, USA by an Italian restaurant owner who said he wanted "to bring the meatball back to the East Coast".

Brilliantly, the old record of 198.6lb (90kg) was set only two months ago after the US talk show host, Jimmy Kimmel, vowed to beat a record set in Mexico in August.

To break the record, the meatball must be a larger-scale version of the normal food item with the same classic ingredients, be made in one day, and be edible.

The record-breaking meatball was later donated to the Friendly Kitchen in Concord, New Hampshire to feed the hungry. BUt if you were hungry, could you polish it off in one sitting?

Meanwhile, the more refined chefs of France were knocking out the world's biggest tiramisu. Weighing more than a ton and having to be stored on an ice rink, it took a dozen skilled cooks to complete.
