Unless you've been living in a spider hole the last few years, the "Call of Duty" series should be familiar. It's one of the biggest-selling, most highly acclaimed video game franchises out there. The next installment, "Modern Warfare 2" is due out on November 10, and if the pre-order numbers are any indication, expect the UK economy to get a boost. However, a controversial video posted by Infinity Ward, the company developing the game, may cause some to rethink their purchase.
Featuring voice-over work by US baseball star Cole Hamels, it decries the notorious act of tossing grenades randomly during online firefights as something only "for p**sies" -- his words. While this probably won't make anyone remove the "Frag x3" perk from their loadouts, it's when the video wraps that the "a-ha!" moment appears: the words "Funding Provided By: Fight Against Grenade Spam." The acronym of this fictional sponsor is "F.A.G.S."
