It's the desktop speed bag, available from Restoration Hardware for £18. The bag is a little taller than one foot and is made from distressed vinyl, so it looks like Rocky Balboa used it to train while he was working in accounts receivable. Best of all -- and this should be standard equipment for any outdoor gear -- it comes with a pump and a needle so you can refill it whenever you've beaten it to a pulp after being called in for the weekend shift.
The solid steel spring should last for a while and employs a suction cup to stick to your desktop, oversized dashboard or wherever you spend your days. And if you don't have a desk because you're out of work, well, you can mount it to your coffee table and smack it while you watch daytime dramas and wait for the phone to ring.
