Contrary to popular belief, guys prefer women whose leg-length is in proportion to their body.Researchers at the University of California and the University of Westminster in London asked men in America and England to judge the attractiveness of computer generated, bikini-clad images of women's bodies. The further away the images deviated from an average 1:1 leg-to-body ratio, the less desirable the men found them.
This backs an earlier study from Australia, in which men looked at sketches of women and showed a consistent preference for those with the most normally proportioned legs.

I think the shape is the key to legs not length, ankles, calf and thighs in proportion, you can't have good legs with fat ankles.

Long thin legs are the worst. Women seem to like them, but men turn their heads for slightly plump well shaped legs.
It is the same with body shape. Super thin women have the body shape of adolecent boys. There is something sad at the way women are being forced to see the male body as something to strive after.
Natural looking women are always more beautiful.

Total Rubbish, you just have to walk down the street or go into any pub and see how many heads turn if a girl walks by with long legs. I have only known one of my friends who did not like tall girls, he is only 5ft 3inch and I am sure he feels intimidated by tall girls.

No one seems to have read this properly! They are saying that men prefer lengs in proportion...
so if long legs are in proportion with the woman then a man will like it, if shorter legs are in proportion with the woman then they will like it, just if a woman has really long legs that looks out of proportion, so dont worry if your really tall or short, seems men still like us, and even if we are curvy, which i think is very nice of men :)

LOL You're the only one that seemed to understand the point. I guess they only go by the title of the article. As a short woman I sometimes do wish my legs were longer but only if the rest matches. I've seen it both ways, long torsos with short legs/long legs short torsos, and its not a pretty thing to see because if has the effect of a falling forward person. It goes for women and men. The only thing about long legs is that it gives the illusion of showing off more skin without being halfnaked. But trust me, not all women want to be really tall and skinny. Just that sometimes some clothes look better on tall women. Oh!!! Some short men love tall women and vise versa as tall men love pettite women. I know I'm barely 5ft and my tallest bf was 6'3 :)
