Timothy the cat must have used up all of his nine lives after being superglued to a busy US road... and surviving.The lucky (considering the outcome) feline was recently stuck to a busy road in Minnesota, USA by cruel pranksters using superglue. They then fled the scene as cars continued to hurtle down the highway.
But amazingly, no motorists hit Timothy. Thinking he had already been injured, many sped past - just inches away - in cars, lorries and motorbikes without stopping to help.
Eventually, though, a couple pulled over to investigate and quickly called for an animal rescue service - while directing drivers around the glued cat.
Though rescuers were able to release Tim, they say he suffered injuries to his paw pads and claws by being removed from the road. Once he has recovered he will be placed with a foster family.

the one thing about family pets they are loyal not back stabbers like some humans.
if i got my hand on these w.....s i would stick them on the highway and strip them naked and cover them in glue and then cover them in feathers

What sick individuals got kicks from this. I'm nearly in tears as I read this. How can people do that, i'm surprised he didn't die from a heart attack.
I hope he's gone to a good loving home, where he will probably never want to venture out of again.
Maybe global warming is a good thing, kill off our selfish, sick human race and allow the earth and its creatures to start over without a disease like us.

The nice bit about this story, is that there was one couple who not only stopped, but then carried out everything they needed to do, to help the cat. That's really great.

Why? That's what i thought when i read this. What did they they do it for? What did they gain from doing it? What did this poor cat ever do to them?
I can't understand the thoughtless pathetic mental b*****d who did this. This poor cat will suffer from this for the rest of his life because they have feelings just like us humans. Would they like it if I went and did the same to one of his family members and made him stand and watch what went on? I could go on for ages because this is so upsetting and has caused pain and suffering to a defenceless poor little mite. Thank goodness there are good people out there who stopped to help this cat before he suffered further and was killed by motorists. All i hope is that whoever did this suffers nightmares for the rest of his life! I hope you never have peace again!

Yes Jez, the Cat was rescued but unfortunately it was not unharmed. I read stuff like this and think to myself what kind of humans are we breeding that would do this kind of thing to an innocent animal. What's next, superglue a newborn to the road. They really have no concept of pain, either physical or emotional and i think that is part of the problem.

I expect who ever stuck the cat in the road wasnt far away watching and laughing at what they had done. Thank God that someone rescued the poor animal, but what if they had been struck by a car as they were helping to free it? people like these should be made to suffer the same fate as the animal they are being cruel to however it is not always possible to repeat the punishment that the animal/s recieved at the hands of these moronic individuals so I think in such cases as these where it is not possible to do to the individuals what they have done to the animal/s in this respect I think we should have a couple of other kinds of punishment we could carry out upon the individuals concerned and especially for cases where the animal/s have lost there lives due to the cruelty inflicted upon them then the person so doing this kind of thing to an animal or animals then we should have a giant microwave large enough to put humans in and those who have killed animal/s by putting them in a microwave or killing them by leaving them in a car to be killed by the heat then pop them into a microwave capable of being able to put the humans in and cooking them the way they have cooked the animals by there negligence how ever where the animal/s have been neglected or killed in some other way that involves cruelty of any kind tey should be tied to the back of a car and dragged down a gravel road until they have died from there injurys or the injurys they have inflicted upon the animal where ever possible matches the injurys inflicted upon the animal and where an animal has died from starvation they should be locked up and starved to death however other things may have to be taken into consideration as a death penelty may not always be appropriate in such cases however we should inflict at least te same kind of thing they subjected the animal to but without kiling them so that they would then know how it felt to be treated like that and would be able to feel at least partly how the animal felt so for example where a dog or cat or any other animal has been left in a car to overheat and it to end up cooking the poor animal to death then the person doing this is then placed into a veihicle or a sauna or something and then haveing them be kept there in the heat for at least an hour obvoiously in such cases and such punishments they would have to be closely monitored by medical teams to ensure they do not die but they suffer almost as much as the animal did at least these are my opinions of such things and people who inflict such crueltys upon animals of any kind

If someone can do this to a defenceless cat it's worrying what they are capable of. It could be a person next. If you look into the backgrounds of some of these murderers you hear and read about, they started off torturing and killing animals before moving onto people.
