Ah the humble gameshow, Mere mortals duking it out in some bizarrely formatted, elaborately theme-tuned scenario. It's sad to admit it but the golden age of the gameshow is gone. It died when 15 to 1 got the axe and with it went the gameshow catchphrase.

It's an odd thing, the gameshow catchphrase. It doesn't have that cloying please-laugh-at-me element that the comedy catchphrases suffer from (we're looking at you Walliams). There's something decent and honest and brave and true about them.

And so, to honour the quiz maxim, in the best way we know how, we've made a list of them that you could use... in the boudoire.
